摘要: In Aspergillus nidulans, the syntheses of nitrate and nitrite reductases are induced by nitrate, repressed ammonium. It is possible in wild-type strains to overcome partially repressive effect ammonium, addition high concentrations growth medium. Mutations which lead production abnormal reductase affect control synthesis nitrate-metabolizing enzymes, these produced constitutively. That this not due accumulation an internal inducer has now been shown, as mutants have found be unable respond induction presence ammonium same way do strains. To explain findings, we propose that molecule provides recognition site for system, such when it complexed with acts a co-repressor, and, complexed, co-inducer.
