摘要: This review summarizes the current status of research and development natural ventilation-enabling noise control devices for use on facades high-rise residential buildings in congested cities. These are important a sustainable urbanized city, as they supposed to offer good acoustical protection citizens, allowing an acceptable level ventilation inside units; energy mechanical can then be saved. From information presented existing literature, it is concluded that protrusive devices, such lintels balconies, not effective screening even if installed with sound absorbers and/or reflectors, under effect city reverberation. On contrary, plenum windows similar structures, which structures staggered air inlet outlet, interesting alternatives worth rigorous considerations.
