摘要: The aim of this paper is to examine market structure, conduct and performance relationship (S-C-P) hypothesis for the non-life insurance industry in Eastern European countries. Additionally, we effect liberalisation on structure performance. We use country-specific fixed effects models panel data period 2004–2008 allowing each cross-sectional unit have a different intercept term serving as an unobserved random variable that potentially correlated with observed regressors. Three are presented, placing profitability distinct environment defined by related control variables. research results support S-C-P all models, showing evidence strong influence profitability. These could be useful decision-making both governments companies.
