摘要: Growth or ring width responses to nitrogen, phosphorus and the two combined fertilizers were significant over five out of seven years that followed treatment (post-treatment period) in thinned, mid-rotation radiata pine (Pinus D. Don). Responses similar between nitrogen treatments largest plus (NP) treatment. Fertilizer increased proportion wood formed relative juvenile thereby increasing tree density comparison control. Fertilizers, other than significantly lowered compared control posttreatment period only. Density was higher NP. lasted for up 5 inconsistent treatments. Ring weakly correlated. responded differently climatic variables within sites, signalling independent physiological controls highlighting importance site specific differences.
