摘要: Over the past three years School of Design has been experimenting with an innovative curriculum design and delivery model named ‘the Global Studio’. The Studio is a cross-institutional research informed teaching learning collaboration conducted between Northumbria University international universities industry partners based in UK, USA, Netherlands Korea. aims are directly linked current future needs that related to changes organisation product service development. These highlight importance equipping students skills for working globally networked organisations particularly development intercultural communication collaboration. In this paper we will focus on 2008 which included (UK), Hongik (Korea), Auburn (USA), Intel Motorola studios located UK Korea Great Southern Wood (USA). projects be used illustrate challenges benefits collaborative industry-based undertaken distributed settings.
