Electrical detection of single magnetic skyrmion at room temperature

摘要: This paper proposes a protocol for the electrical detection of magnetic skyrmion via change tunneling magnetoresistive (TMR) signal in three-terminal device. approach combines alternating spin-transfer torque from both spin-filtering (due to perpendicular polarizer) and spin-Hall effect with TMR signal. Micromagnetic simulations, used test verify such working principle, show that there exists frequency region particularly suitable this achievement. result can be at basis design based read-out detection, overcoming difficulties introduced by thermal drift once nucleated.
