摘要: Abstract As we begin the 21st century, society is continuing efforts towards finding clean power sources and alternative forms of energy. In automotive sector, reduction pollutants greenhouse gas emissions from plant one main objectives car manufacturers innovative technologies are under active consideration to achieve this goal. One technology that has been proposed vigorously pursued in past decade proton exchange membrane (PEM) fuel cell, an electrochemical device reacts hydrogen with oxygen produce water, electricity heat. Since today there no existing extensive infrastructure commercially viable storage for vehicles, a debate as how these advanced vehicles will be supplied. order circumvent above issues, systems based on PEM cells can employ on-board processor ability convert conventional fuels such gasoline into cell. This option could thereby remove issues. However, processor/fuel cell successful, issues start time transient response must addressed. paper discusses role it relates battery sizing vehicle. addition, results testing current Renault/Nuvera Fuel Cells project presented show progress performance.
