摘要: The storage capacity of the ECG records presents an important issue in medical practices. These data could contain hours recording, which needs a large space for to save these records. compression signal is widely used deal with this issue. problem process possibility losing some features signal. This loss influence negatively analyzing heart condition. In paper, we shall propose efficient method using discrete wavelet transform and run length encoding. based on decomposition signal, thresholding stage encoding final data. tested MIT-BIH arrhythmia signals from international database Physionet. shows high performances comparing other methods recently published.
