摘要: Ventricular tumors of tuberous sclerosis are almost always hamartomas or benign occurring predominantly in children young adults. No clear gross histological distinctions between the ventricular "candle gutterings" and "tumors" have been identified. The clinical presentation may be acute, with sudden onset increased intracranial pressure possible serious morbidity (visual impairment) death. When these surgically removed decompressed, prognosis for life seems to quite good. Malignant change lesions is very rare.
