摘要: Abstract The lung is one of the most sensitive organs to ionizing radiation, and damage normal tissue remains a major dose limiting factor for patients receiving radiation thorax. Radiation induced injury (RILI) which also named as "radiation pneumonpathy" continuous process regarded result an abnormal healing response. It has been shown that transforming growth β-1 (TGF-β1) plays integral role in fibrosis formation by promoting chemoattraction fibroblasts their conversion myofibroblasts. Halofuginone a, low molecular weight plant derived alkaloid, isolated from Dichroa febrifuga exhibits antifibrotic activity inhibition type I collagen synthesis. protect against soft virtue inhibiting various members TFG-β signaling pathway. By light these findings, we hypothesize may be able ameliorate fibrosis.
