摘要: SUMMARY Two hundred and six patients with acute stroke admitted consecutively to District General Hospitals, were studied for a period of months. Significance tests conducted singly detected 21 factors present during the first 48 h stroke, which related outcome months later in terms both mortality functional recovery. Among these significant various measures perceptual dysfunction, including Albert's Test. Multivariate statistical analysis included discriminant linear logistic modelling, revealed (Albert's Test Score, leg function, level consciousness, arm power, weighted mental score ECG changes) significantly independently outcome. A model based on predicted an overall accuracy 67 per cent 83 cent. This provides useful basis stratification future randomized controlled trials may have role management individual patient.
