摘要: A simple method was developed to study the feasibility of extractive distillation in a batch rectifier. By calculating feasible profiles different column sections and figuring them triangular diagram, limiting values most important operational parameters (number stages, flow rate entrainer reflux ratio) were determined for steps distillation. The unusual behavior also investigated this process. An infeasible region can be assigned given parameters; if still composition is located within region, specified separation cannot attained. locating maximum recoveries attainable rectifier middle vessel compared. results obtained by verified pilot-plant experiments mixture acetone-methanol + water.
