摘要: The mullein bug, Campylomma verbasci (Meyer-Dur) (Hemiptera: Miridae), a palearctic zoophytophagous insect or plant-feeding predator, is common in apple orchards of North America. aim this study was to evaluate the influence biotic environment (extraguild prey and intraguild predators) on phytophagy bug. We hypothesized that (1) presence extraguild should reduce intensity by bug (2) predators as an prey. Phytophagy evaluated observing feeding punctures laboratory fruit damage field. Two types were tested: Aphis pomi De Geer Aphididae) Panonychus ulmi (Koch) (Acari: Tetranychidae), at four densities each (zero, four, eight, 16). Seven combinations insects tested using one nymph with without predator (coccinellid). Our results confirm first hypothesis, but only partially second. number decreased some predators.
