摘要: A method of making coated engine blocks by (a) casting a metallic block having one or more cylinder bores; (b) fabricating thin walled liner for each bore, the being constituted extruded tubing cleansed inner surface, wall thickness controlled to 1-3 mm±15 microns, outer diameter slightly greater than internal (c) relatively rotating with respect nozzles applying plurality materials surface liner, comprising first metal texturing fluid that is applied at high pressures expose fresh secondly bond coating material thermally sprayed form metallurgical and top anti-friction adheringly plasma coating; (d) honing remove up 150 microns coating, leaving finish concentric tube axis within ±15 microns; (e) interference fitting bore freezing while maintaining above ambient temperature permit implanting liner.
