摘要: A method and apparatus are provided for positron emission imaging to calibrate energy measurements of a pixilated gamma-ray detector using sharing events between channels the detector. Due conservation energy, when single gamma ray shared among multiple channels, sum measured energies across respective channel must equal original incident ray. Further, fractions distributed can span entire range zero energy. Thus, source (e.g., cesium isotope 137) be used continuously nonlinear response over an interest.
