摘要: In this work, using large-sized single crystals of high optical quality, the properties Ba2TiSi2O8 were systematically investigated, including transmission spectra, refractive indices and nonlinear absorption properties. The crystal exhibits a transmittance (>84%) over wide wavelength range from 340 to 2500 nm. in 0.31256 1.01398 μm measured, Sellmeier’s equations fitted by least squares method. studied open-aperture Z-scan technique, with coefficient measured be on order 0.257 cm/GW at peak power density 16.4 GW/cm2. Such transparency indicate that devices Ba2TiSi2O8crystal can applied range. Furthermore, small observed will effectively increase conversion efficiency, decreasing generation laser damage device.
