摘要: Abstract Two urban biowaste materials, fermented under anaerobic and aerobic conditions, their soluble insoluble alkaline hydrolysates, a commercial biostimulant product, were compared for capacity to boost Hibiscus crop production quality. Plants grown in 4‐litre pots, containing peat pumice as substrate, optimal growing conditions. A randomized-block experimental design was adopted. types (main factors of variability) treatments applied, i.e. by blending the above products with substrate at transplant, fertigation using hydrolysates only. Plant biomass characteristics ecophysiological parameters measured. Mean effect interactions assessed two‐way ANOVA. Principal component analysis performed different dependent variables summarize most relevant differences among treatments. Compared control (untreated plants), applied enhanced investigated parameters. The valuable effects observed total accumulation (+25%), plant height (+10%), leaf chlorophyll SPAD index (+15%) net photosynthesis (+24%). better than pristine materials. former ones comparable biostimulant. results confirmed hypothesis that derived induce activity on Hibiscus; application can improve cultivation sustainability.
