摘要: For years, natural polymers have played a significant role in pharmaceutical field due to their biocompatibility and biodegradability. In Indonesia, most research focus on application of the as inert excipients or drug matrix micro- nano- particle. Meanwhile, about world (mostly synthetic polymers) been progressed advanced delivery system. this system, polymer can act either pharmacologically active molecules, sophisticated carrier targeted prodrug The latter is called polymer-drug conjugates, system where drugs are covalently attached polymeric carrier, rather than simply entrapped matrix. Natural one materials use for This review article emphasizes opportunity, challenges strategies conjugates. Moreover, we also discuss some aspects regards synthesis analysis, give perspectives encouragement Indonesian researcher who interested exploring field.
