摘要: Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is a lethal cancer with poor prognosis. Our previous proteomic analysis found apolipoprotein E (ApoE) protein to be up-regulated in the sera of patients PDAC. In this study, we sought confirm finding and investigate relationship between ApoE We measured expression tissues from PDAC normal controls (NC) by real-time PCR, western blot, immunohistochemistry. Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was applied measure levels carbohydrate antigen 19-9 (CA19-9) NC. Real-time PCR blots showed that mRNA were tissues. The immunohistochemical results revealed overexpression detected 43 55 (78.2 %) cases 3 20 (15 High more likely advanced T status TNM stages (p = 0.023 p 0.018, respectively). ELISA also confirmed elevated patients. sensitivity specificity for distinguishing NC 76.2 71.4 %, respectively, ApoE, 66.7 85.7 CA19-9, 81.0 their combination. These suggest may potential PDAC-related biomarker alone or combination other markers provide additional information diagnosis clinical management
