摘要: Abstract Sound application of clinical reasoning (CR) by the physical therapist is critical to achieving optimal patient outcomes. As such, it important for institutions granting certification in orthopaedic manual therapy (OMPT) ensure that assessment CR sufficiently robust. At present, dearth validated instruments assess OMPT presents a serious challenge certifying institutions. Moreover, lack documentation development process measure pose additional challenges. The purpose this study evaluate sensibility newly developed instrument assessing written responses test OMPT; ‘pilot’ phase examines feasibility and acceptability. Using sequential mixed-methods approach, Canadian examiners were recruited first review use instrument. Participants completed questionnaire followed semi-structured interviews, latter which used elaborate on regarding Eleven interviews. Questionnaire results met previously established criteria, while interview data revealed participants' (dis)comfort with exerting their own judgment rating scale. Quantitative qualitative provided valuable insight content validity issues related efficiency competence; all will ultimately inform further psychometric testing.
