摘要: Changes in pressure and magnetic field the orbital ordering temperatures of $R{\mathrm{VO}}_{3}$ perovskites are reported; they reveal a competition between two orbitally ordered phases that have opposite preferences for $e$-orbital component localized $^{3}T_{1g}$ ground state ${\mathrm{V}}^{3+}$ ion. This is shown to be biased by ${\mathrm{VO}}_{6/2}$ site distortion intrinsic orthorhombic structure. A remarkable enhancement ${T}_{N}$ with found where leads enhanced critical fluctuations.
