Eolian dune field of Late Triassic age, Fundy Basin, Nova Scotia

摘要: Recently discovered eolian sandstones in the Wolfville redbeds are definitive evidence of aridity Late Triassic time Fundy Basin. The paleowinds consistently blew to southwest, reflecting location rift valley subtropical belt northeast trades. These data help establish a climatic pattern increasing from south north for basins Newark Supergroup.
