摘要: Five genetically distinct human rotavirus (HRV) gene 4 groups have been described on the basis of comparative nucleotide sequencing and predicted amino acid sequences, at least four them represent VP4 antigenic types. To identify each type investigate its distribution in HRV isolates from patients with diarrhea, we developed a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) typing method using sequence information available for Rotavirus double-stranded RNAs (dsRNAs) isolated stool samples were first reverse transcribed amplified by PCR two oligonucleotide primers that correspond to regions are highly conserved among all known The 876-bp dsDNA products then reamplified presence cocktail containing one plus-sense primer type-specific minus-sense (selected hypervariable region 4), resulting 345, 483, 267, 391 bp corresponding types 1, 2, 3, 4, respectively. This reliably identified 16 well-characterized isolates. Our results independently confirmed strains transcription amplification dsRNA alternate pairs. For direct samples, extract specimens glass powder. suggest will be useful providing more complete characterization epidemiologic or vaccine-related interest.
