摘要: Healthcare systems have undergone several phases of restructuring, particularly following the global economic slowdown mid-1970s. This process has been presented in both deterministic and developmentalist terms and, for some scholars at least, is seen as a technical response to an emerging crisis welfare provision. However, decisions made by national governments are always politically mediated more critical body explanation identifies important role played neoliberalism helping frame reform healthcare systems. Therefore, although not limiting itself such explanation, this article draws heavily on research that ways which governmental commitment shaped restructuring process. More specifically, it highlights key processes associated with health services makes links back principles values neoliberal theory.
