摘要: The effects of glipizide on the absorption glucose and d-xylose were studied in six type II diabetics diet treatment alone. Glipizide was given intravenously (12 micrograms/kg at 0 min) or orally (5 mg -30 min). Oral (15 g) xylose (25 loads zero time. stimulated insulin secretion reduced levels significantly with both routes administration. suppression lasted longer after oral than intravenous administration drug. It is suggested that part influence postprandial may represent interference absorptive mechanisms.
