Normative Data for the Singapore English and Chinese SF-36 Version 2 Health Survey.

摘要: Introduction The aim of this study is to report normative data for the Short-Form 36 version 2 (SF-36v2) assessing health-related quality life, in Singapore general population. Materials and methods Data English Chinese-speaking participants Prospective Study Programme were analysed. SF-36v2 scores norm-based with English-speaking population as reference reported by age (in decades), gender ethnicity well 5 most prevalent chronic medical conditions. Scores separately Chinese language versions. Results A total 6151 (61.5% 19.2% Malay) 1194 provided complete data. Mean (SD) all was 49.6 (12.58) years 52.4% being women. In both languages, women lower than men on scales. Among conditions, stroke had largest impact scales 3 (role-physical, health social functioning). Conclusion We have detailed SF-36v2, which would be valuable furthering HRQoL research possibly region.
