摘要: THE PHASE OF INVESTIGATION DESCRIBED IN THIS REPORT WAS DESIGNED TO STUDY BEHAVIOR COMPOSITE BRIDGE BEAMS AND CHECK VALIDITY PREDICTING USING A RATIONAL NUMERICAL ANALYSIS WHICH HAS BEEN PROGRAMMED FORTRAN II LANGUAGE. EIGHT WITH WIDELY VARYING PROPERTIES WERE TESTED ALONG SEVENTEEN COMPANION PUSHOUT SPECIMENS. VARIABLES INCLUDED' /A/ STEEL STRENGTH, /B/ SIZE, TYPE NUMBER SHEAR CONNECTORS, /C/ CONCRETE /D/ /NORMAL LIGHTWEIGHT/. TEST GAGED MEASURE DEFLECTION, SLIP STRAIN AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS. TWO- POINT CONCENTRATED LOAD APPLIED SMALL INCREMENTS UP APPROXIMATELY WORKING LOAD, THEN RELEASED REAPPLIED UNTIL FAILED. EXPERIMENTAL DATA EVALUATED COMPARED THEORETICAL PREDICTED FROM COMPUTER ANALYSIS. DISCUSSION PRINTOUT PROGRAM ARE APPENDED REPORT. TWO CONCLUSIONS THAT 1. WILL ADEQUATELY PREDICT FULL-SCALE BEAMS, 2. UTILIZING EITHER LIGHTWEIGHT OR NORMAL-WEIGHT SLAB MAY BE EQUALLY WELL. /AUTHOR/
