摘要: BACKGROUND Potassium-(K)-channel inhibitors may increase systemic vascular resistance in vasodilatory shock states. OBJECTIVE The purpose of the present study was to compare macro- and microvascular effects adenosine triphosphate-sensitive K-channel-(KATP)-inhibitor glipizide nonselective K-channel inhibitor tetraethylammonium (TEA) ovine endotoxemic septic rats. DESIGN Two randomized, controlled laboratory studies. ANIMALS Thirty female sheep 40 male Sprague Dawley SETTING Animal research facility INTERVENTION:: Systemic hemodynamics were analyzed with guideline-oriented supportive therapy. Sheep allocated three treatment groups for 12 h: 10 mg kg·h, TEA 8 mg kg·h, or 0.9% saline. each drug evaluated rats (cecal ligation puncture model) receiving a 2-h infusion drug: 20 mg kg·h; 50 mg kg·h, saline, respectively, followed by intravital microscopy villi microcirculation. RESULTS Compared control group, increased index decreased cardiac heart rate (HR) (P < 0.05), whereas HR resulted survival time (P = 0.001). In rats, an mean arterial pressure decrease compared baseline measurement (P < 0.05) without relevant on capillary perfusion microcirculation sham group (P = 0.002). CONCLUSIONS Selective inhibition KATP-channels partially restored vasomotor tone exerting harmful intestinal On contrary, showed deleterious both models, including impaired time. Future be warranted.
