摘要: The frequency of the HLA-A, -B and -DR alloantigens was studied in 74 unselected, consecutive, unrelated Greek patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) results were compared those healthy controls (380 for class I antigens 154 II antigens). No statistically significant differences noted between regarding prevalence any antigen. Furthermore, no such observed our 36 anti-Ro (SSA) positive rest SLE patients. However, coexistence anti-La (SSB) antibodies (9 patients) correlated significantly HLA-B8, whereas haplotype HLA-B8DR3 more common than rest-although difference did not reach statistical significance. combination high anti-ds-DNA low C4 serum levels absence HLA-DR5. Our findings, while agreement certain previous studies, are somewhat different from others. may at least partly be related to variations control populations employed. On other hand some differences, accordance peculiarities Greeks connective tissue disease, emphasize role racial and/or ethnic background HLA-association various autoimmune diseases fact that detectable HLA modify disease autoantibody expression rather being responsible process itself.
