摘要: The focus of ecosystem restoration has recently shifted from pure rehabilitation objectives to both improving ecological functioning and the delivery services. However, these different targets need be integrated create a unified, synergistic, balanced approach. This should done by combining state-of-the-art knowledge natural social sciences manageable units that consider temporal multiple spatial scales ecosystems, legislative units, policy agendas. Only considering aspects combined can we accomplish more cost-efficient resulting in resilient ecosystems provide wealth services possibility for sustainable economic development future. We propose novel conceptual framework will yield effective restoration: Operational Restoration Unit. is based on scale-dependent actions adhere easily relevant environmental legislation, encompass resilience aquatic sum human pressures acting water bodies. opens up possibilities an integration agenda into major growth, regional development, security.
