摘要: Ice-coupled waves travelling beneath solid ice sheets experience decay arising from both scattering (reflections by inhomogeneities) and damping (a consequence of the viscoelasticity in sea-ice energy loss water). Scattering have been examined isolation but rarely together, which is necessary if a model to simulate reality accurately. This deficiency addressed herein. We describe that assimilates these mechanisms, used reproduce under two dimensional variable thickness. Damping more significant for lower period causes reduction observed rate.
