摘要: Objectives: The purpose of the study was to evaluate usefulness and clinical value nasal provocation test (NPT) with various allergens non-IgE-mediated irritants in diagnostics assessing occupational rhinitis. Methods: A large number data from patients suspected rhinitis evaluated retrospectively. results tests different agents, as well correlation scoring weighed mucus secretion, were analyzed. Results: Altogether 507 NPTs done three years 165 persons. In total, 39% allergen provocations (125/318) positive. most common positive reactions against flours, animal epithelia, storage mites plants. Wood dusts, mainly through reactions, gave 50% results. Positive moulds observed sensitized patients. Altogether, 10% control weighting secretion added sensitivity NPT. Conclusions: NPT is an essential standard tool allergic rhinitis; however it needs be context medical work history knowledge sensitization. Although expensive laborious, safe easy for patient. We still need reliable diagnostic tools non-allergic work-related SUMMARY
