摘要: Background A lumen-apposing stent can be used effectively under endosonographic guidance. Objective To evaluate a newly designed, fully covered self-expandable metal with folding anchoring flanges for lumen apposition assembled on conventional delivery system. Design Retrospective case series and animal study. Setting Tertiary care academic medical centers. Subjects Six pigs study 7 patients, 3 of whom underwent endoscopic drainage acute cholecystitis (AC) 4 pancreatic fluid collection (PFC). Intervention Stent deployment EUS guidance after puncturing, passage an endoscope through the into gallbladder (GB), or PFC procedures. Main Outcome Measurements Technical clinical success, adverse events, removability. Results In study, was successfully inserted deployed in GB via transgastric approach without events all 6 pigs. Contrast injection demonstrated absence leakage. Cholecystoscopy enhanced endoscopy performed animals placement. All stents were intact removed at weeks. firmly adhered to stomach cholecystogastric tract necropsy histopathology. The effects patients. AC resolved placement Endoscopic procedures possible stent. migration not observed. from patients complete resolution. Limitations Small sample size, retrospective Conclusions Transenteric intervention by using novel is feasible management PFC. Further warranted.
