摘要: Abstract A new, more rigorous method for calculating the ratio of isomeric cross sections has been developed. The is particularly valuable when energy and spin distribution are known before gamma rays populating ground states start to cascade. usefulness was demonstrated by applying it analysis in 196 Hg(n,γ) 197 Hg reaction, which initiated thermal neutrons.
