Towards a Testbed for Dynamic Vehicle Routing Algorithms

摘要: Since modern transport services are becoming more flexible, demand-responsive, and energy/cost efficient, there is a growing demand for large-scale microscopic simulation platforms in order to test sophisticated routing algorithms. Such have simulate detail, not only the dynamically changing supply of relevant service, but also traffic flow other services. This paper presents DVRP extension open-source MATSim simulator. The designed be highly general customizable wide range dynamic rich vehicle problems. allows plugging various algorithms that responsible continuous re-optimisation routes response changes system. has been used many research commercial projects dealing with electric autonomous taxis, demand-responsive transport, personal rapid free-floating car sharing parking search.
