摘要: The aim of this work is to study the genetic diversity and symbiotic effectiveness natural populations rhizobia nodulating chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.) in six locations South Tunisia, where had never been cultivated. Nodules were observed only two soil samples from Gafsa (0.8 nodules per plant) Tataouine (2 plant). PCR-RFLP typing 165 rRNA genes 42 isolates indicated that all analysed strains showed same ribotype as reference strainSinorhizobium meliloti RCR2011. These induced ineffective on andMedicago sativa; however onMedicago laciniata effective. Analysis by PCR-RFLP, thenifDK spacer suggested belong biovarmedicaginis ofS. meliloti. present paper is, our knowledge, first report showing selectively nodulated under conditions a specific biovar specificity toM. laciniata. interaction well impact inefficient nodulation cultivation needs be investigated further.
