摘要: In-vitro and animal studies have shown that viral agents can be removed from or inactivated in clotting factor concentrates by physical chemical treatment. However, clinical data as yet not substantiated the results of these studies. 13 haemophilia A patients who had been treated previously with blood products were given a dry-heated VIII concentrate tested serologically over next 12 months. Hepatitis developed 11 (84%) was invariably type non-A, non-B. Morbidity related to lot therapeutic material number infusions. The incubation period either 5 8-11 weeks, only 1 patient symptoms. Aminotransferase elevation showed both monophasic biphasic patterns. During follow-up signs disease disappeared 10 (90%). These findings contrast absence non-B hepatitis chimpanzees same heated concentrate. Thus, first-exposure haemophiliacs are essential for true evaluation safety new "treated" concentrates.
