摘要: It is important to improve the teaching and tutoring materials avail- able in undergraduate CG education. Exposure such material will certainly help encourage research. However, new image generation algorithms proposed recent research are not usually included at level. We, authors, have developed designed for educating undergraduates CG. This paper describes that support study of NPR, or "non-photorealistic processing", a painting-style process- ing technique used Our goal make system studying NPR through Java programming. First, we introduce "Jimmy", an educational software program NPR. Jimmy supports brush filtering functions images. Second, "CG Ex- periment Course Syllabus" using system, describe outcomes its exercises. Students can develop brush, filtering, drawing techniques images by extending modifying algorithms. Through our found following results: (1) The was very useful students compre- hending algorithm existing source algorithm,
