摘要: BACKGROUND: The influence of angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors (ACEIs) and angiotensin II receptor blockers (ARBs) on contrast-induced renal toxicity has been poorly studied. Nevertheless, it is a common practice in many centers to stop these drugs before coronarography. Our goal was study whether function affected patients taking ACEIs or ARBs undergoing coronary angiogram. METHODS: Patients (n=17) those not (n=18) admitted for angiogram underwent glomerular filtration rate (GFR) effective plasma flow (ERPF) assessment either by isotopic clearances (51Cr-EDTA MAG3) inulin paraimmuno-hippurate 24 hours prior immediately after RESULTS: Median percentage GFR changes induced the injection contrast medium during were -9% (interquartile range -19% +3%) control group -1% +39%) ACEI/ARB group. Mean ERPF remained stable coronarography (median change -8%; interquartile -18% +6%) increased slightly +9%; -17% +60%). median difference EPRF statistically significant between 2 groups (p=0.18). CONCLUSIONS: Inhibition renin-angiotensin system associated with decline receiving media, there no need interrupt this treatment
