摘要: Postnatal growth and development of fishers were quantified for 14 litters kits born in captivity between 1991–93. Male (n=22) female (n=16) body weight did not differ within 48 hrs birth (P=0.64); however, by 90 days age the mean daily gain males (48.1 g/day) was more than double that females (21.6 g/day). Males grew approximately 1.49 times faster females. Females attained mature 180 200 days. Kits altricial with few discernible morphological changes or behaviors observed during first 30 life.
