摘要: Past and recent events have proved that critical infrastructure are vulnerable to natural catastrophes, unintentional accidents terrorist attacks. Protecting these systems is avoid loss of life guard against economical upheaval. A systematic approach plan security investments paramount guarantee limited protection resources utilized in the most effcient manner. This thesis provides a detailed review optimization models been introduced past identify vulnerabilities plans for infrastructure. The main objective this study new more realistic protect transportation such as railway road man made disruptions. Solution algorithms devised effciently solve complex formulations proposed. Finally, several illustrative case studies analysed demonstrate how solving can be used support decisions.
