Interfacial Phase Transitions at Solid-Fluid and Liquid-Vapor Interfaces

摘要: To study the interface between a solid surface and nitrogen vapor, theory of Cahn was applied. The Peng-Robinson equation state (PREOS) incorporated in to model thermodynamic functions fluid. In this wetting transition, as earlier reported by Cahn, shown. addition, transitions occurring at liquid-vapor three-phase LLV equilibrium binary mixtures hexane/water benzene/water were examined. It found that making use gradient van der Waals, which PREOS incorporated, seem be third order. For case where replaced Associated-Perturbed-Anisotropic-Chain-Theory, no region found. argued that, principle, it should he possible first-order with square theory.
