摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter discusses the quantitative analysis of a number parameters maturing cerebral cortex. It deals with determination volume nerve cell bodies and packing density during postnatal development. The measurable cortex seems only fruitful if it clarifies functional histological relationships that were previously unknown. Sholl has listed three categories or sets variables to which histologist should direct his attention: (a) total neurons present in cortex, (b) afferent connective surface these (c) patterns connectivity.
