摘要: Objective:To compare the effect of conventional physical therapy and Pilates on function, restoration, exercise ability in hospitalized chronic renal patients.Methods:A total 56 inpatients were randomized into two groups: Conventional Pilates. The primary outcomes functionality (Barthel Index), respiratory muscle strength (manovacuometry), to (step test) evaluated following periods: preintervention, after 5th session, 10th session or at discharge. Three months randomization, Barthel Index was applied over phone. At end 10 sessions discharge, length hospital stay calculated level satisfaction with care assessed (MedRisk).
