摘要: The Coastal Ocean Research and Monitoring Program (CORMP) the Carolinas Observing Prediction System (Caro-COOPS) were established in South Atlantic Bight 2000 2001, respectively, as distinct sub-regional coastal ocean observing programs. They have since developed co-evolved to become fully cooperative efforts that together span region from southeastern North Carolina Carolina/Georgia border. Both programs incorporate observations subsystems, data management infrastructure, predictive modeling components, extensive outreach activities. As Caro-COOPS CORMP been implemented, opportunities identified for sharing resources, coordinating activities, expertise problem-solving capacities, cooperating on user-targeted Currently, field operations are coordinated, information mutually supportive, synergistic complementary, specific activities mounted efforts. At same time, each program has individual components of specialized or product applications. we learn how best leverage our respective these lessons being applied more broadly build efficiencies productive coordination with other national
