摘要: Rosmarinic acid is an ester of caffeic and 3,4-dihydroxyphenyl lactic commonly found in plants belonging to the Boraginaceae subfamily Nepetoideae Lamiaceae family. The compound has a number important biological activities, e.g. antiviral, antibacterial, antiinflammatory, anticancer antioxidant. This review shall focus on reported activities rosmarinic discuss its therapeutic potential against variety cancers including colon skin cancer.
