摘要: The effectiveness of Deep Soil Mixing (DSM) treatment method was evaluated in terms reducing heave movements underlying expansive soils. Several binder types were used to treat soils and these methods are considered a laboratory investigation select the appropriate binders for field DSM studies. Laboratory studies indicated that combined approach using lime cement Two pilot scale test sections then designed installed on soil columns. Anchor rods fasten biaxial geogrid Surcharge equivalent loads from base surface layers placed top DSM-geogrid through fill placement. These treated along with control untreated instrumented monitored. Monitored results showed shrink-swell related pressures both vertical lateral directions considerably less than those recorded sections. Nondestructive seismic enhancements shear strength zones.
