摘要: Abstract A nanocomposite heterojunction photoanode involving CdS nanoflowers (NFs) and one-dimensional TiO 2 nanotube (NT) arrays was reported. The self-assembled NT were fabricated by an anodization method the surface of decorated with NFs employing hydrothermal for first time. NF morphology optimized controlling reaction time from 0 to 72 h. Field-emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) study CdS-NF/TiO -NT revealed good coverage hydrothermally grown on arrays. photoelectrochemical measurements performed under 100 mW cm −2 illumination using polysulfide electrolyte. 5.5-fold photocurrent enhancement observed array synthesized a 48 h compared pristine film. Annealing NTs as well led further improvement in account greater crystallinity, significantly higher visible light photon absorption improved interface properties between . These findings supported optical absorption, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy Mott–Schottky analyses.
