摘要: OBJECTIVE To determine the pulmonary venous flow velocity (PVFV) values in a large normal population. DESIGN Prospective study consecutive individuals. SETTING University hospital. METHODS Among 404 individuals, pattern right upper vein was recorded 315 subjects using transthoracic echocardiography, and both veins 100 transoesophageal echocardiography. Subjects were divided into five age groups. The PVFV compared between echocardiography within groups, intraindividually left RESULTS Normal for are presented. duration of reversal at atrial contraction overestimated (mean (SD): 96 (21) ms 120 (28) ms p  CONCLUSIONS generally show wide range. data presented will be value assessing ventricular diastolic function mitral regurgitation pattern.
