摘要: Abstract When a preening pup is placed in isolation for brief period of time, it displays an increase activity that includes the emission vocalizations ultrasonic range (around 40 kHz). The vocal response to used investigate early life communicatory, social, and affective behaviors. present chapter covers three aspects isolation-induced vocalizations: (1) Early experiences influence vocalization during isolation, including maternal behavior, postnatal enrichment or deprivation, prenatal challenges. Life-span effects are described when reported. (2) Social stimuli alter vocalizations. This section will describe contact quieting, suppression presence adult males, paternal potentiation calls. (3) selective breeding high low rates vocalization, changes communicative potential calls life-span on behavior.
